There are not many hotels at the beach,... read more and this is a well located place where you can spend your evenings, sleep in a clean, comfortable room, and go out during the day. The owner, Don Manuel, is like an encyclopedia of knowledge of the area, and he can get you connected with all tours and activities. The hotel includes a delicious breakfast. There is a supermarket and a restaurant next door. It has good quality air conditioning. Parking is allowed at no extra cost. No pool.

The Lodge owner, Don Manuel, was extraordinarily helpful and bent over backwards to make our one week stay with his family here in Cuajiniquil an absolute delight. Manuel’s family treated us so well that we felt we had become temporary members! His son runs the adjoining Arrecife Restuarant, which serves such good seafood and other Tico dishes that we probably gained five pounds! His daughter runs the adjoining Tico Souvenir Shop, filled to the brim with souvenirs, local handicrafts, hammocks and more. The rooms are very clean, cozy and well equipped - with WifFi, AC, closets, full tiled bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Manuel’s immense local knowledge of Guanacaste and its many National Park, Forest and Marine Reserves evidently attracts scientists and nature lovers from all over the world. During our stay in early December, 2022, the Lodge guests included researchers and students from the University of California and the Smithsonian Institution.

A market and nice restaurant flank the lodge so that is very convenient. Each room has an air conditioner and WiFi is good. The only downside is sounds travel well.

Guanacaste area , this is an original lodge with a great restaurant air condition
and even a mouse and rat hunter for free on and in roof a boa snake very harrmeless
to tourist and guest but were found and taken out to a national park ,sleeping was very nice on good beds and clean to the max,let me add too that this area is very corona covid 19 free ,people very clean and concious of others in distance and
higene we founf out 0 cases here great for me and boys it was great to visit ...
